This past weekend, the youngest athletes in the community took the spotlight as the Spring Mills Jr. Cardinals (6–7 year olds) hit the field for some flag football and the older kids made some noise with the helmets and shoulder pads.
From the opening whistle to the final play, the kids showed off not only their growing football skills but also their personalities — full of smiles, laughter, and even a few dance moves after big plays. These games remind us what youth sports are all about: having fun, building friendships, and learning to love the game.
